Tom and She Stories

  3 24 2026 Tom wondered as he crossed over that famous Red River . Did he cross before he should have . Before it was time to . He felt the decision must be made and made then. And so it was . He knew he could not pull back , go back . The choice was made. So Tom crossed the Rubicon .

Enjoy each Blueberry One at a time Place in mouth With care Savor Slowly squeeze Til the juice Comes out Taste the tart or sweet Each one A bit different But the same. Enjoy the fruit Young or old. One at a time Do so with all You do. Everything

  Tom realized he did not understand ,one of the many things his new Cancer and Treatments have given him . So he looked up the word Pain - Pain is a subjective, unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with, or resembling, actual or potential tissue damage, influenced by biological, psychological, and social factors . It acts as a protective, vital warning system, ranging from sharp/acute (short-term) to chronic (long-lasting ) . His CA has given him all that , Pain . Some pain he accepts and welcomes , he knows he continues to live . Some pain has made him more sensitive. Some pain has made him more blunt. All pain has changed him .

  So Tom is on the way to West Chester South today . To get his Life Juice and see the Franklin team. Today he will see what the Cat saw . To hear what all think about what the Cat saw yesterday . So was the Cat happy or sad ? So will the future continue or will it move on ? On to the last step . Soon all will know or maybe not . Perhaps Tom will not say …....

  Tom's thoughts on Hugs. It is really interesting to hug someone . I had a hard time doing it the first time . My Aunt taught me . Now I enjoy it. You can better understand someone by how they hug. Or if they will not . Think about how they hug , that they will not . Then, you will understand what I mean. Hard Hug . They really want to be with you . Soft Hug . They are more private. No Hug . They are too private. My opinion says, Tom. What's yours.

  We take a certain number of trips in our lives. Tom thought this one ended well. It started well. Had some challenges, as all trips do. Enjoyable as many are too. He and She spent some time in a group were alone and together too. As all trips do this one is ending . So Tom thought , it's time to plan another with She .

  As he fights the on going battle within. The old Marine never really knows what to say . When others ask “ How are you today “ Should a lie or the truth come out . Is he great ? Is he in pain ? Is he the same ? Blunt or tactful what will it be today … Those are his choices . What will he choose today?

  He seems to have lost a way to love some how along the way. So he searched for other ways to love others for the rest of his stay. With joy he found another , perhaps better way to love others well everyday. For the rest of Tom's stay.
